Kimberley biscuits, made in Waterford, became a much-loved favourite in Irish homes. Crisp, sweet and perfect with a cup of tea, they were a familiar treat found in kitchen cupboards and lunchboxes.

And then there was Macado — the chocolate-covered coconut log that became another Irish favourite. For many, the taste brings back memories of weekends, family visits and simple treats shared together.
